Responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain 2D & 3D Datasets in a controlled PLM Environment using Catia V6
  • Perform hand calculations and FEA to ensure product integrity at minimum weight
  • Develop and build prototypes, perform initial analyses, and document results to inform design
  • Design products for certification based on requirements and accepted means of compliance
  • Create supporting documentation for certification deliverables
  • Collaborate with internal and external manufacturing resources to minimize cost and improve manufacturability
