Mechanical design skills and experience

Responsibilities

Work on end-to-end design and manufacturing of parts and sub-assemblies
Fabricate prototypes, iterate rapidly, and advance concepts through to high volume production
Develop specifications and accelerated test plans to validate the product for its determined lifetime
Conduct component-level testing for performance, durability, reliability, and variability
Complete and release component designs and documentation, including 2D drawings
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of subject matter experts to create a cohesive and balanced product
Establish relationships with vendors and suppliers
