Requirements

  • Expertise in mechanical commissioning and testing for data centers or mission-critical facilities
  • Ability to act as technical expert and advisor on feasibility, practicality, cost, and resource impacts
  • Capability to serve as on-site technical lead, coordinating with vendors, clients, contractors, and site owners
  • Proficiency in reviewing and approving design documents (BoD, OPR, drawings, schematics, diagrams)
  • Experience developing, reviewing, and approving test scripts, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and Factory Witness Tests (FWT)
  • Strong coordination skills for project schedules, safety, and stakeholder meetings
  • Knowledge of commissioning documentation, certifications, and deliverables

Responsibilities

  • Lead and steer all mechanical commissioning and testing activities according to the agreed Scope of Works
  • Act as technical expert and advisor for the client throughout the commissioning process
  • Coordinate obtaining information from equipment vendors, clients, contractors, and site owners to make decisions
  • Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to provide technical opinions and agree on commissioning scope
  • Ensure all relevant certifications and documentation are provided by contractors and vendors for commissioning use
  • Review, check, analyze, and approve design documents meeting client commissioning requirements
  • Support development of engineering and commissioning deliverables with team members
  • Develop, create, review, and achieve approval of test scripts and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Develop, create, review, achieve approval, and initiate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) or Factory Witness Tests (FWT)
  • Ensure delivery quality aligns with client testing requirements and specifications
