Requirements
- Expertise in mechanical commissioning and testing for data centers or mission-critical facilities
- Ability to act as technical expert and advisor on feasibility, practicality, cost, and resource impacts
- Capability to serve as on-site technical lead, coordinating with vendors, clients, contractors, and site owners
- Proficiency in reviewing and approving design documents (BoD, OPR, drawings, schematics, diagrams)
- Experience developing, reviewing, and approving test scripts, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and Factory Witness Tests (FWT)
- Strong coordination skills for project schedules, safety, and stakeholder meetings
- Knowledge of commissioning documentation, certifications, and deliverables
Responsibilities
- Lead and steer all mechanical commissioning and testing activities according to the agreed Scope of Works
- Act as technical expert and advisor for the client throughout the commissioning process
- Coordinate obtaining information from equipment vendors, clients, contractors, and site owners to make decisions
- Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to provide technical opinions and agree on commissioning scope
- Ensure all relevant certifications and documentation are provided by contractors and vendors for commissioning use
- Review, check, analyze, and approve design documents meeting client commissioning requirements
- Support development of engineering and commissioning deliverables with team members
- Develop, create, review, and achieve approval of test scripts and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
- Develop, create, review, achieve approval, and initiate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) or Factory Witness Tests (FWT)
- Ensure delivery quality aligns with client testing requirements and specifications
