Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years experience in packaging lines
Experience in mechanical activities such as assembly pipes & equipment, testing
Good mechanical aptitude, use of general hand tools, power tools needed for assembly and precision measuring equipment
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Knowledge of packaging drawings read and understand
Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective gloves, safety glass etc
Deftness and attention to detail
Proficient in English

Responsibilities

Assembling components such as Compressors, Motors, pipes, and baseplate per assembly drawings
Operating Overhead Crane to move equipment
Working within precise limits or standards of accuracy
Assembling/disassembly, adjust and install mechanical to meet tolerance and product operating requirements
Performing testing such as hydrotest and pneumatic test
Performing alignment for Centrifugal Compressor and electrical motor with gearbox
Complying with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental directives and regulations
Ownership for completion of QC Sheets, manufacturing forms, completion work forms
