Skills in weighing, packaging, wrapping, and labeling cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood to company standards
Capability to maintain appropriate inventory levels and fully stock meat, seafood, prepared foods, and cheese cases
Ability to rotate products according to expiration dates and follow guidelines for disposing of damaged/expired products
Proficiency in cleaning and sanitizing equipment, display fixtures, meat cooler, freezer, and refrigerated cases
Ability to inspect and store meat upon delivery
Commitment to sanitation and safety standards in the meat department
Adherence to club policies, procedures, compliance, GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate), and club standards (e.g., Grand Opening Look, stocking, signage, cleanliness)
Responsibilities
Engage and assist Members by making recommendations and answering questions on meat, poultry, and seafood
Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by Members
Cut, grind, and/or process fresh meats to company standards
Weigh, package, wrap, and label cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood
Showcase all available products in the meat case and maintain inventory levels
Stock meat, seafood, prepared foods, and cheese cases; rotate products by expiration dates
Dispose of damaged and/or expired products per guidelines
Clean and sanitize all equipment, display fixtures, and areas in the meat department, including cooler, freezer, and cases
Inspect and store meat upon delivery
Assist in merchandising seafood, prepared foods, cheeses, pre-packed deli, rotisserie chicken area, and full-service deli
Support team execution, member service, safety, inclusion, and club standards
