Knowledge of meat, poultry, and seafood to make recommendations and answer member questions
Ability to prepare special cuts of meat ordered by members
Skills in cutting, grinding, and/or processing fresh meats to company cutting standards
Ability to weigh, package, wrap, and label cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood to company packaging standards
Capability to maintain appropriate inventory levels and fully stock meat, seafood, prepared foods, and cheese cases
Understanding of rotation procedures according to expiration dates and guidelines for disposing of damaged/expired products
Proficiency in cleaning and sanitizing all equipment, display fixtures, areas, meat cooler, freezer, and refrigerated display cases
Ability to inspect and store meat upon delivery
Commitment to sanitation and safety standards within the meat department

Responsibilities
Engage and provide assistance to members by making recommendations and answering questions regarding meat, poultry, and seafood
Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by members
Cut, grind, and/or process fresh meats to company cutting standards
Weigh, package, wrap, and label cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood to company packaging standards
Showcase all currently available products in the meat case and maintain appropriate inventory levels
Fully stock meat, seafood, prepared foods, and cheese cases; rotate products according to expiration dates
Follow guidelines when disposing of damaged and/or expired products
Clean and sanitize all equipment, display fixtures, and areas in the meat department, including meat cooler, freezer, and refrigerated display cases
