Requirements

Ability to receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, including grinds
Knowledge of meat, poultry, and seafood to make recommendations and answer member questions
Skills in cutting, grinding, and processing fresh meats to company standards
Ability to weigh, package, wrap, and label cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood to company standards
Capability to maintain appropriate inventory levels and showcase products in the meat case
Commitment to maintaining all sanitation and safety standards in the meat department
Adherence to club policies, procedures, and compliance, including GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate)
Team-oriented mindset with honesty, integrity, speed, agility, and a positive attitude

Responsibilities

Assist in merchandising seafood, prepared foods, cheeses, pre-packed deli, rotisserie chicken area, and full-service deli
Assist in meat selection and prepare special meat arrangements for Members
Engage and provide assistance to Members by making recommendations and answering questions on meat, poultry, and seafood
Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by Members
Cut, grind, and/or process fresh meats to company cutting standards
Weigh, package, wrap, and label cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood to company packaging standards
Ensure the meat case showcases all currently available products and maintain appropriate inventory levels
Carry out job functions as assigned, support flawless execution, and escalate concerns as appropriate
Deliver service excellence, resolve member concerns, and ensure a safe, positive environment
Maintain clean, organized department with accurate signage, full stocking, and promotional execution for GOLD club standards
