Requirements

Ability to receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, including grinds
Knowledge of company cutting, packaging, weighing, and labeling standards for meat, poultry, and seafood
Ability to assist in merchandising seafood, prepared foods, cheeses, pre-packed deli, rotisserie chicken area, and full service deli
Capability to prepare special meat cuts and arrangements for Members
Commitment to maintaining all sanitation and safety standards in the meat department
Understanding of club policies, procedures, and compliance
Ability to carry out job functions with honesty, integrity, speed, agility, and a focus on member service (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate - GAA)
Team-oriented mindset to support flawless execution, inclusion, diversity, collaboration, and GOLD club standards (Grand opening look, stocked items, promotional plans, accurate signage, clean and organized)
Familiarity with accessing and reading production and/or financial performance reporting for the department

Responsibilities

Engage and assist Members by making recommendations and answering questions on meat, poultry, and seafood
Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by Members
Cut, grind, and/or process fresh meats to company cutting standards
Weigh, package, wrap, and label cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood to company packaging standards
Showcase all currently available products in the meat case and maintain appropriate inventory levels
Assist in merchandising seafood, prepared foods, cheeses, pre-packed deli, rotisserie chicken area, and full service deli
Maintain all sanitation and safety standards within the meat department
Support club policies, procedures, and compliance; escalate concerns as appropriate
Deliver service excellence, resolve member concerns, ensure a safe and positive environment, and uphold GOLD Member Standards and club standards daily
