Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a cold environment. Prior experience in a grocery or meat department is preferred, along with the ability to follow instructions and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
The Meat Clerk will be responsible for receiving, rotating, wrapping, and merchandising fresh and processed meats, assisting with seafood, rotisserie chickens, prepared foods, and cheeses, providing assistance to members, maintaining cleaning and safety standards, and ensuring a safe and positive environment for members and colleagues.
