  • Apply prototyping techniques and methodologies to develop physical prototypes of mechanical components and systems for design validation and testing
  • Integrate electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) considerations into mechanical designs to ensure compliance with EMC standards and regulations
  • Perform structural analysis and simulations to evaluate mechanical integrity and performance of components and systems
  • Implement thermal management strategies in mechanical designs to address heat dissipation, thermal regulation, and protection for electronic components and systems
  • Conduct thermal analysis and simulations to optimize heat transfer and thermal performance for reliability and longevity
  • Apply GD&T principles to define geometric specifications and tolerances for mechanical components and assemblies
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, communicating design requirements effectively to manufacturing and quality assurance teams
