Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years Supply Chain Experience or leadership, or High School diploma/GED and 7 years Supply Chain Experience, or GE Leadership Program employee or graduate
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing Best Practices and dealing with high levels of ambiguity
  • Strong expertise in Oracle systems, supply/demand planning, Plan for Every Part Ownership, and Lean methodologies
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Oracle SME for coaching and developing Materials Leaders and Basic Knowledge of shipping/receiving and materials flow of the site
  • SME in understanding of Planning/Execution within Oracle and the transactions
  • Understanding of the P&L statement and how transactions affect financials for a site
  • Obso understanding and execution of eliminating obso driven through sharing/Use/Scrap
  • In depth knowledge of creating/reporting DMS KPIs along with Action Driven results
  • Understand Career growth and leadership Behaviors
  • Promoter of change and challenging status quo
  • Experience with Lean and Continuous Improvement

Responsibilities

  • Managing direct material purchasing, planning parameters
  • Leads fulfillment of all customer orders for products or a Region, providing detailed monthly and quarterly fulfilment forecasts to manufacturing and materials teams and/or the Regional Commercial Operations function
  • Reports production build plan and forecast to Senior Management highlighting variances to OP or FC
  • Manages finished goods inventory levels globally for a particular group of products or regionally for all products across plants and warehouses
  • Leads inventory management for all modalities across the Repair Operations Center
  • Leads cross-functional team to define, prioritize, and track closure of fulfilment issues in supply chain
  • Influences and communicates well with all levels of the organization including senior leadership, acting as primary supply chain owner for the product portfolio or Region
  • Responsible for the product forecasting process and flow down from regional Commercial teams to manufacturing teams and reviewing/communicating forecast accuracy
  • Facilitating NCR and MRB processes, supporting engineering changes (ECR/ECN), and overseeing material transfers for NPI programs
  • Acting as a subject matter expert (SME) in Oracle transactions, auto-release, min/max forecasting, and financial implications on P&L
  • Driving lean initiatives, leading Kaizen events, and creating standard work to optimize material flow
  • Coaching and developing materials specialists and leaders, promoting career growth and leadership behaviors
  • Championing continuous improvement, change management, and strategic sourcing to eliminate obsolescence and shortages
