Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • One (1) or more years of related experience preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to interpret, receive direction and apply both written and oral communication
  • Flexible to quickly adapt to learning new tasks, moving to new areas to meet changing customer demands
  • Flexible and able to work overtime, nights, various shifts and weekends as required
  • Flexible to work in multiple areas as required
  • Demonstrated competencies in: teamwork, professional demeanor, quality, job knowledge, communication, problem solving, lean principles, flexibility, attendance and timeliness
  • Ability to use general office equipment and materials
  • Ability to use material handling equipment including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, bar code scanners, etc
  • Able to alternate or be able to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Able to lift, reach, push, pull up to 45 pounds as required
  • Able and willing to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as required for assigned area

Responsibilities

  • Performs site warehousing functions that support overall manufacturing operations and other customer-related activities
  • May drive a forklift
  • Understands and follows Plexus quality policy guidelines, customer specifications and adheres to regulatory compliance
  • Works independently without supervision and escalates information as necessary to leaders to have urgent and important tasks addressed
  • Quickly adapts to change, proficient in priority management and decision making
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives and actively participates in improving work environment
