Requirements

  • 2+ years of supply chain/materials management experience in a fast-paced CPG environment. Food/beverage preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management preferred
  • Experience in activities around cost analysis and negotiation
  • Flexibility to travel 10% of the time to supplier locations/plants and Austin office
  • Existing knowledge of global raw materials and packaging markets within nutraceuticals marketplace a plus
  • Ability to effectively exercise tact, discretion, judgement, and diplomacy when interacting and/or negotiating with internal and external customers

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain BOM’s/where-used mapping for all product categories, tying back to finished product specs and cost templates
  • Active management of packaging component safety stock levels/targets
  • Facilitate cross-functional activities and monthly leadership reviews to mitigate and disposition E&O materials
  • Propose and execute continuous improvement initiatives to reduce material waste shortages impacting co-manufacturer production and pickup request schedules
  • Work in concert with Sourcing department on material issues and escalations to achieve an exceptional level of material availability and service goals
  • Develop forward-looking analytical tools to quantify material impact of NPD/product transitions and inform decision-making
  • Other duties as dictated by business needs
  • Provide real time, progressive visibility, and internal/external guidance around excess and obsolete (E&O) elimination and on-hand/inbound material positions within Nutrabolt’s overall supplier base
  • Support the Supply Chain team with primary oversight of activities related to raw materials and packaging throughout Nutrabolt’s external manufacturing network
