Requirements

Candidates must possess a Secondary School Leaving Certificate and have essential experience in a warehouse or inventory role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is beneficial, along with demonstrated verbal, written, and presentation skills. The ability to work with diverse individuals, operate handheld scanners, enter data into various systems, and communicate fluently in English is required. Strong multi-tasking, time management, and customer service skills are necessary, as is a high level of confidentiality. Physical requirements include the ability to walk extensively, lift 15-20 kg consistently, and potentially wear PPE such as steel-toe shoes and safety glasses. Availability to work overtime is also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Site Specialist will be responsible for material handling, shipping, receiving, and glassware washing on the customer's site. Duties include performing on-site program replenishments and disbursements, managing stockroom operations such as receiving, put-away, stock rotation, and cycle counts, and handling order entry, expediting, and customer service support. The role also involves chemical management, including receiving, registering, and tracking chemical containers, and managing glass wash operations. Employees will follow established best practices and SOPs, prepare for customer meetings, embrace PPI methodologies for process improvement, and support new customer additions. A key responsibility is to build positive customer relationships and represent Thermo Fisher Scientific professionally.
