Requirements

  • Ability to safely operate material moving equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, order-pickers, and dollies
  • Certification to operate assigned equipment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, including during operation of stand-up lifts
  • Ability to lift shoulder high up to 35lbs repetitively
  • Ability to step up and down off lifts and walk long distances over extended periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-climate controlled environment
  • Moderate to high degree of standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, close eye work, reaching, pulling, or pushing
  • Occasional work from heights
  • Ability to operate, maneuver, navigate, or drive vehicles or mechanized equipment like forklifts and industrial trucks
  • Good hand dexterity, hearing, and vision; ability to distinguish color
  • Punctual attendance and flexibility to work 3rd shift
  • Ability to wear required PPE and follow safety protocols (e.g., box cutting, dock safety, health/safety/environmental policies)

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload materials; receive materials into the company system and verify against pack lists for accuracy
  • Count and weigh parts to check quantity accuracy; contact buying team for discrepancies
  • Pick parts for shipment and package according to shipping procedures
  • Use material moving equipment to transport products and materials to appropriate locations
  • Issue materials to departments, transact inventory quantities, and deliver parts to work areas
  • Monitor inventory, report discrepancies to team leader, and perform stock replenishment, rotation, combining, and cycle counting
  • Transfer parts between bin locations using the company operation system; prepare and package parts for shipping
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies; safely operate certified equipment
  • Read and understand work instructions, electronic/manual bill of materials, pull sheets, pick sheets to retrieve and deliver materials
  • Manually load/unload materials onto/from pallets, trays, racks, baskets, and shelves
  • Accurately and timely enter materials transactional information into SAP and other systems
  • Support 5S/housekeeping activities; adhere to FIFO standards
  • Use deviation areas and hold tags for nonconforming material procedures
  • Load/unload materials into trailers adhering to dock safety protocol
  • Meet physical logistics KPIs, associate engagement, and teamwork goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned
