Responsibilities

Develop and maintain material schedules to ensure optimal inventory levels
Analyse and forecast material requirements based on production schedules and customer orders
Oversee and manage the supply of materials to meet production requirements and maintain optimum stock levels
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers
Evaluate supplier performance to ensure the reliable supply of materials
Work closely with Supply Chain and cross-functional teams to ensure material availability and timely delivery
Maintain material planning parameters in SAP
Ensure the timely flow of materials to production lines
Forecast anticipated materials requirements and co-ordinate supply
Prepare and present regular reports on material supply and inventory levels
Co-ordinate the efficient movement of materials
