Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements material procurement strategies to support production plans and ensure on-time delivery of raw materials and components
  • Manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as purchasing, logistics, quality assurance, engineering, and finance teams
  • Monitors inventory levels and adjusts stocking policies accordingly to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing excessive holding costs
  • Implements lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and eliminate waste
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements related to material sourcing, import/export regulations, and environmental standards
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to material shortages or delays in delivery
  • Conducts regular audits to assess inventory accuracy, inventory turnover, and adherence to quality control procedures
  • Analyzes data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in material procurement and inventory management
