Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
  • Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
  • Ability to work in cold room/freezers (-22°F/-6°C), fluctuating hot/cold temperatures, loud noises, and warehouse environment
  • Standing for full shift
  • Some degree of PPE required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
  • Working at heights and regularly climb ladders
  • Walk, stand, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 40 lbs. on a continuous basis
  • May occasionally sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, and handle packaged hazardous/toxic materials
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Attention to detail
  • Desire to work as part of a team, but also able to work independently and solve problems quickly

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and accurately process items for storage and/or shipment in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements
  • Sustain a high level of quality to ensure customers receive accurate product and in the time requested
  • Verify the quality, type, and number of materials received are accurate and appropriate documentation is present (e.g., packing list)
  • Safely operate distribution equipment, as required (preferred experience with powered industrial trucks like order pickers)
