Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic math skills: counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with calculator assistance; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
  • Ability to print and speak simple sentences
  • Ability to work overtime, as necessary (scheduled or unscheduled)
  • Ability to understand temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) knowledge and maintenance
  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience
  • Physical abilities: regularly stand, talk, hear, use hands to handle materials, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch; frequently walk, lift and/or move up to 65 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus
  • Tolerance for exposure to moving Powered Industrial Equipment, extreme cold, and extreme heat
  • Ability to use assigned individual security passwords

Responsibilities

  • Move product through the distribution center safely and accurately, following all safety and company policies/procedures
  • Maintain a positive work environment through effective communication and interaction aligned with company mission
  • Process orders: verify and apply stickers for inbound and outbound processes
  • Process hazardous materials in accordance with International Civil Aviation Regulations
  • Use Radio Frequency Terminal/Scan gun to process product throughout warehouse
  • Assure compliance with all Regulatory, Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures (including spills, damages, and returns)
  • Process and stage damaged product per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Use correct pallets and packaging as required by customer or country for shipping
  • Participate in projects/teams to improve operations in safety, quality, service, and cost
  • Utilize Warehouse Computer Applications (WMS, RF Equipment)
  • Perform other tasks as assigned, including cross-training
  • Complete Pick/Pack documents for Freezer products and packing lists as required
  • Document inventory discrepancies
  • Complete training assignments on time
  • Follow all Health and Safety procedures
