Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Basic math skills: counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with calculator assistance; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
Ability to print and speak simple sentences
Ability to work overtime, as necessary (scheduled or unscheduled)
Ability to understand temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius
Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) knowledge and maintenance
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience
Physical abilities: regularly stand, talk, hear, use hands to handle materials, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch; frequently walk, lift and/or move up to 65 pounds
Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus
Tolerance for exposure to moving Powered Industrial Equipment, extreme cold, and extreme heat
Ability to use assigned individual security passwords

Responsibilities

Move product through the distribution center safely and accurately, following all safety and company policies/procedures
Maintain a positive work environment through effective communication and interaction aligned with company mission
Process orders: verify and apply stickers for inbound and outbound processes
Process hazardous materials in accordance with International Civil Aviation Regulations
Use Radio Frequency Terminal/Scan gun to process product throughout warehouse
Assure compliance with all Regulatory, Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures (including spills, damages, and returns)
Process and stage damaged product per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Use correct pallets and packaging as required by customer or country for shipping
Participate in projects/teams to improve operations in safety, quality, service, and cost
Utilize Warehouse Computer Applications (WMS, RF Equipment)
Perform other tasks as assigned, including cross-training
Complete Pick/Pack documents for Freezer products and packing lists as required
Document inventory discrepancies
Complete training assignments on time
Follow all Health and Safety procedures
