Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance (up to 50 lbs. lift/carry and push up to 70 lbs.)
  • Capable of standing for full shift
  • Able to work in environmental conditions including cold rooms/freezers (-22°F/-6°C), fluctuating hot/cold temps, loud noises, warehouse, working at heights, and with hazardous/toxic materials, dry ice, liquid nitrogen, and infectious agents
  • Must apply PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.) and strictly follow safety protocols and GMP standards
  • No previous work experience required (preferred: experience in distribution, warehouse, supply chain, or related field; experience with warehouse equipment)
  • Skilled at independent work and task prioritization
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of methods to handle, process, and store specimens using a computerized system

Responsibilities

  • Receive and handle incoming raw materials
  • Facilitate the movement of materials, including hazardous materials, across the site
  • Maintain accurate inventory through receipts, adjustments, and cycle counts
  • Successfully implement safety and operational protocols
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily goals
