Ability to read and write effectively in English
Ability to work all shifts and required overtime
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Constant bending and lifting
Ability to stand/walk on concrete floors and move pallets with product
Close vision (at 20 inches or less) and distance vision (20 feet or more)
Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for extended periods of time
Forklift certification is a plus
Close attention to detail

Responsibilities

Develops and keeps a clean, safe working environment for self and others and consistently adhere to all the companies’ safety policies and procedures
Safely transport finished goods from cells to the shipping area and securely load the machines on to pallets
Verify and accurately record all the required data for each machine from build sheets, QA documents etc. before wrapping
Inspect unit for any visible damages and report it to the QA team at once
Wrap and package machine for shipping (block and brace machine on pallet, apply layers of bubble wrap, securing machine glass with foam packs, applying shrink by hand or using a shrink wrap machine, banding machine to pallet using a metal bander, applying corrugated sleeve and adding the proper decals and labels)
Receives and prepares orders daily and sets shipping schedules (tier II)
Gathers all information needed to complete the shipment (tier II)
Monitors ship dates daily and communicates with Sales & Production about planning/install dates (tier II)
Performs internal processes to complete shipment (EDI, PGI, shipping report updates, etc.) (tier II)
Prepares shipping documents (BOL, SLI, Comm. Invoice, Certificate of Origin, etc.) (tier II)
Calls carriers to schedule pick-ups (tier II)
Supplies freight estimates to customers and Sales (tier II)
Verifies order accuracy by matching quantity, machine type, address, payment/shipping terms, etc. (tier II)
