Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years crane operating experience, or crane operation and rigging training
  • Proficiency in safe rigging and crane operation
  • Ability to stand continuously with occasional walking and sitting
  • Ability to perform physical activities including pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying heavy objects (60–100 lb.), climbing, crouching, kneeling, bending, and handling
  • Repetitive finger motions capability
  • Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment
  • Load and move materials in and out of storage areas or production staging areas
  • Inspect and maintain material handling equipment to ensure it is in safe and proper working order
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor, including cleaning, trash/scrap removal, grinding, drilling, and other production-related jobs
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating effectively with customers, coworkers, clients, and supervisors
  • Work in a safe and conscientious manner
