Requirements

Leaving Cert or equivalent education
Stock control and Warehousing experience
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Ability to work based on defined performance goals
Must maintain Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Four-I Values
Strong desire to serve the customer
Strong communication skills and customer focus to deliver excellent customer service, including maintaining a professional appearance at all times
Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office
Ability to work primarily at customer locations, including office, shipping/receiving docks, stock rooms, storage, and laboratory environments
Ability to work independently at customer location
Extensive walking required
Ability to use material handling equipment such as push carts and pallet jacks
Ability to wear personal protective equipment (lab coats, coveralls, hood, facemask, hairnets, safety gloves, safety glasses) as required
Able to lift, push, and pull 15kg consistently; may be required to lift 20kg
Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safety Standards

Responsibilities

Makes on-site program replenishments and disbursements
Performs stockroom duties including receiving, put-away, stock rotation, cycle counts, systematic replenishment, and other functions according to customer requirements
Performs customer service activities including order entry, processing of backorders, completing 3rd party & agent buys
Performs laboratory services such as glassware collection/cleaning, biological waste collection/sterilisation, media preparation, and/or chemical inventory receipt/reconciliation
Operates customer procurement systems
Performs chemical tracking
Performs glass wash operations
Follows well-defined procedures as outlined by Best Practices, SOP’s & work instructions
Takes direction from Team leader regarding daily duties
Always represents Thermo Fisher Scientific professionally and positively throughout customer locations
Performs other duties as assigned by management
