Requirements

Ability to operate a forklift truck (including with push-pull attachment)
Familiarity with Cambar radio frequency inventory system or similar RF terminals
Understanding of ship orders, warehouse paperwork, and shipping/receiving processes
Knowledge of FIFO (First In, First Out) flow for raw materials and finished products
Ability to verify commodity number, quantity, release status, and lot number
Knowledge of raw materials and finished product nomenclature
Ability to read and check materials against packaging lists, invoices, freight bills, or other documentation
Availability for 2nd shift (2:30pm - 11:00pm EST), 5 days per week on an 8-week rotating schedule
Commitment to implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system

Responsibilities

Receive, store, pick, and dispense raw materials and/or finished products
Coordinate timely and accurate flow of materials from warehouse inventory to work-in-process/production areas
Coordinate timely and accurate flow of finished products to support shipments to customers and other destinations
Load and unload materials using a forklift
Use Cambar RF inventory system to store, pick, or assemble finished product for shipment
Understand and properly utilize ship orders and associated warehouse paperwork and RF terminals for shipping/receiving finished product
Maintain proper FIFO flow of finished products
Store, pick, or assemble raw materials in the warehouse, verifying commodity number, quantity, release status, and lot number
Check materials against packaging lists, invoices, freight bills, or other pertinent documentation to assure conformity and accuracy
Deliver materials to production lines in a timely manner and maintain proper FIFO flow of raw materials
Clean up raw material and finished goods warehouse areas
Stage labels in mobile security carts for production lines
Understand and complete label control procedures
