Responsibilities

Guide project planning aligned with company mission and core values
Develop and maintain project schedules, resource allocations, and timelines
Prepare and manage departmental budgets related to manpower, materials, equipment, and supplies
Lead masonry crews to meet or exceed project goals, quality standards, and safety requirements
Continuously improve work practices, craftsmanship, and safety procedures
Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted timely
Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and clients for project planning and execution
Monitor job costs, productivity, and profitability; implement corrective actions as needed
Recruit, hire, and onboard skilled masons and laborers
Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and foster ongoing professional development
Maintain clear job descriptions, certifications, and training programs
Develop succession plans for key personnel to ensure workforce continuity
Foster a positive team environment emphasizing cooperation, safety, and high performance
Oversee job site safety compliance, conduct safety meetings, and enforce safety policies
Manage project paperwork, including construction plans, scope descriptions, and reports
Utilize project management software to track progress and resource allocation
Monitor and control project budgets, costs, and materials inventory
Manage procurement, maintenance, and proper use of tools and equipment
Establish relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effective service
Ensure materials meet specifications and are delivered on time to prevent delays
Uphold safety standards in accordance with OSHA and company policies
Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce safe work practices
Promote a safety-first culture and promptly address hazards or unsafe acts
Interface directly with clients or client representatives to ensure satisfaction and address concerns
