Event management degree or related course qualification
Some event management experience is desirable
Experience within B2B technology sector is desirable

Responsibilities

Supporting the planning and delivery of the regional events program, from administrative tasks to on-site event management and exploring new ideas
On-site event management, including attending events, supporting or managing overall event logistics, set up, ensuring smooth operations, and serving as the essential point of contact for staff and suppliers
Hosted event planning, including working with the marketing team to gather requirements, sourcing venues, and liaising with venues and suppliers to make necessary arrangements
Industry event logistics support, including managing completion of exhibitor forms, gathering information and deadlines from exhibitor manuals, briefing requirements to contractors, and managing supplier and venue orders
Supporting administrative tasks, such as maintaining the events calendar, event project plans, and budget documents; scheduling meetings; briefing design requests for event branding; and managing MRI merchandise inventory, including stock levels and orders
Assisting with follow-up actions post-event, including event debriefs and feedback capture
Enhancing event experiences by researching new ideas and concepts, and supporting with reviewing and gathering supplier proposals
Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with fellow colleagues and key external suppliers and organisations
