Requirements

  • Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field
  • Understanding of electronics fundamentals, test instrumentation equipment, and debugging practices
  • Experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Structured Text, Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagrams, etc
  • Familiarity with data acquisition systems, sensors, or embedded systems testing
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical hardware bring-up, fixture design, or test automation is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to technical challenges
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, implementation, and validation of automated and manual test systems for robotic product systems and subsystems
  • Support the development and maintenance of hardware and software tools for production testing
  • Perform root cause analysis on test failures and collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to drive corrective actions
  • Help document test procedures, configuration, and calibration steps
  • Support deployment and troubleshooting of test stations on the production floor
  • Help train CM personnel on performing system level testing, and operating automated testers on the production floor
  • Collect, analyze, and report test data to track manufacturing performance metrics
