Networking Co-packaged Optics Manufacturing Test Engineer

Position Overview

NVIDIA is seeking a creative and independent Networking Co-packaged Optics Manufacturing Test Engineer to manage, sustain, enhance, and improve the production line (OSAT). This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate R&D and mass production activities with Engineering, Planning, Operations, and OSAT stakeholders.
  • Act as the "Boots on the ground" owner at the OSAT facility.
  • Drive the measurement of factory key performance metrics.
  • Sustain test program performance and drive roadmap improvements with Test Engineering.
  • Sustain hardware performance and drive troubleshooting with Equipment Engineering.
  • Manage manufacturing, engineering, and quality issues on the production line.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
  • Identify and fix manufacturing problems, including process, material, hardware, and test program issues.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Material Engineering or equivalent.
  • Optics background is an advantage.
  • 10+ years of test or product engineering experience.
  • Background with IC test manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with IC / CPO manufacturing hardware and software.
  • Background in data analysis and test yield improvement.
  • Experience with production management.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively across different functional teams and subcontractors.
  • Good communication and organization skills.
  • Logical approach to problem-solving.
