National 5 or better in Standard Grade Math, English, and at least one science subject (relevant work experience considered as alternative)
At least 1 year experience in a high efficiency manufacturing environment (similar industry suitable)
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards
Compliance with cleanroom requirements (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair, etc.)
Ability to work in conditions with loud noises, strong odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products), and standing for full shift
Willingness to wear PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.)
Ability to work safely with chemicals and hazardous materials
Ability to perform manual handling tasks that are repetitive and involve standing for long periods
Ability to work overtime and a rotating shift pattern

Responsibilities

Participate in daily briefing and planning to align on goals and tasks
Prepare and calibrate equipment/machinery for optimal performance
Execute batch manufacturing of cell culture media and reagents, adhering to specifications (prepare, formulate, or package product)
Continuously monitor manufacturing processes for quality and efficiency
Conduct quality control testing to ensure products meet standards
Maintain accurate documentation and records of production activities and quality assessments
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime
Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, team leaders, supervisors, and other departments on safety, quality, and service matters
Liaise with all levels of organization and interact with customers during site visits
Perform end-of-day review and reporting to keep team informed
