Requirements

  • Minimum of an Associate's degree OR completion of a Diploma in a discipline related to manufacturing/assembly
  • Intermediate, discipline-specific understanding of Plexus Manufacturing processes, Product Requirements & Specifications, and cross-discipline or supplier coordination
  • Comprehensive understanding of Equipment, Process control, Safety, Risk Awareness, setup awareness, and operation
  • Ability to work independently in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus' Manufacturing Processes
  • Availability to work 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10pm)

Responsibilities

  • Assess, implement, and maintain manufacturing procedures for intricate assembly processes
  • Develop and execute high-quality, cost-appropriate Manufacturing solutions that satisfy customer requirements, establishing an area of technical specialty
  • Apply process improvement or troubleshooting as applicable to the role
  • Utilize appropriate tools to perform necessary work, including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes, or production
  • Provide support to direct production line operators
  • Ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety improvements in assembly operations
