Requirements

Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance (including manual handling and lifting 15kg up to chest height)
Some degree of PPE required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
Standing for full shift
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility in working hours to meet production requirements (mainly Mon-Fri 6am to 2:30pm)
Minimum NCEA Level 2, with good numeracy and literacy
Strong attention to detail
Great teammate
Curiosity about finding a better way
Experience in manufacturing or a physically active environment is an advantage (full training provided)

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a small team in a manufacturing environment
Actively operate equipment and processes while following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices
Train in multiple protein separation processes
Complete day-to-day production activities and Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), ensuring accuracy, legibility, and correctness for traceability
Communicate production issues to the Production Supervisor or Team Leaders as they arise
Carry out related duties or assigned tasks for efficient team and business operation
Participate in strong safety and continuous improvement culture
