Requirements

  • High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred (candidates without must pass pre-employment assessment)
  • Computer skills: Job Scope Manufacturing software, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Ability to successfully participate as a member of a team
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud
  • Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor (e.g., eye, ear, and foot protection)
  • May occasionally lift and/or move up to 10-50 pounds
  • Work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines
  • Demonstrate cooperative and civil behavior with co-workers, supervisors, and customers

Responsibilities

  • Status delinquencies (shortages), know where they are within the plant and the projected delivery date
  • Manage and coordinate short flow, AOG, Priority requirements, Not Moving orders by negotiating due dates when on-time delivery is in jeopardy
  • Identify potential problems, analyze, and propose alternatives for resolution for any issues that may jeopardize on-time delivery
  • Identify and communicate parts shortages
  • Generate and follow up Timelines for HOT parts upon CSR request
  • Add priority to Work Orders and Shipping Schedules when needed using plant soft tools such as AS400, e-mail, etc
  • Become knowledgeable of and follow company procedures
  • Support other team positions as required
  • Follow all job tools available and applicable to the job and the plant including SP’s, Work instructions, Modules, etc
  • Perform other duties as assigned and needed to meet company growth and customer expectations
  • Support the Quality Policy, Mission Statement, and other policies and procedures by supporting commitment to total customer satisfaction, quality products and services, lean processes, continuous improvement, on-time delivery, safety, training, individual accountability, and respect for people
