Responsibilities

  • Participate in CPPD and design reviews to influence product design for manufacturability
  • Conduct feasibility studies for components and assemblies across welding, painting, and assembly processes
  • Create and validate process flow documentation (PFMEA, SFMEA, DF, CP, IPV, ETC)
  • Develop standard work instructions (SWS/SWES) and visual aids for operators
  • Define tooling and equipment requirements for new product lines
  • Guarantee adherence to APQP and PPAP requirements
  • Work with supply chain, logistics, and packaging teams to ensure smooth transition
  • Close NPI issues with clear risk assessments before production commitment
