Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in test design and automation within a manufacturing environment. Experience with wireless communication systems and automated test equipment is highly desirable.
The Manufacturing Automated Test Design Engineer will design and implement comprehensive test plans to ensure full coverage of wireless communication system feature sets, design and implement logging and log analysis tools, take ownership of production test station design, implementation, maintenance, repair, and upgrade, collaborate with RF and systems engineering teams, partner with engineering and quality teams to validate new testing approaches, and work closely with the software development team to augment production test systems. They will also perform basic manufacturing failure troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production failures.
