Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited University in Mechanical Engineering, Management or Industrial Engineering, Chemical or Environmental Engineering or in Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
  • Professional proficiency in English and Italian
  • Proven working experience in a global environment
  • Problem-solving attitude to identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Good interpersonal capabilities, empathy, influencing abilities and good presentation and decision-making skills
  • Strong positive attitude, teamwork capabilities, ambition and passion for performance
  • EU Work Permit

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Innovation Engineering and Product Development teams in translating new product requirements into producible features, choosing existent technologies or support new technology introduction, either for raw materials or for machining & welding activities
  • Supporting in assessing Supply Chain capabilities, helping the team to make technical choices and investment plan
  • Evaluating preliminary designs and recommending modifications based on cost constrains, knowledge of main conventional and unconventional manufacturing technology processes and their related capabilities
  • Leveraging on the technology experts to define the preliminary manufacturing process sequence and assessing the associated cost
  • Supporting the execution of all the laboratory operations on prototypes and/or mockups needed for product, system, sub-system and component validations
  • Supporting all Cost Out Initiatives (from Manufacturability standpoint) impacting industrialization of all new products
