Requirements

Candidates should possess 2-3 years of experience in an Editorial position within an established media company, along with proven experience in social media management, content creation, and editing, particularly focusing on social media and other key platforms such as websites. They must also demonstrate a strong understanding of streetwear culture, trends, and influencers within the Indonesian market, coupled with excellent writing and editorial skills and familiarity with social media analytics tools.

Responsibilities

The Managing Editor will curate, write, and edit daily articles covering the latest trends in fashion, streetwear, music, and culture, specifically tailored to Hypebeast Indonesia’s audience. They will develop and execute social media strategies to grow and engage the Hypebeast Indonesia’s social media following, optimize content for maximum impact, monitor and analyze trends, audience feedback, and social media insights, assist the Sales team in producing pitch decks, collaborate with the Hypebeast sales & project team on client activations, build relationships with local influencers, creatives, and trendsetters, and ensure content remains fresh and relevant.
