Requirements

  • 15+ years of combined delivery experience, including 10+ years in a delivery leadership role
  • 5+ years managing and mentoring senior technology leaders and directors
  • University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
  • Proven ability to inspire, influence, and align business and technology leadership, with strong change management and transformation experience
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at Executive levels
  • Familiarity with investments technology solutions and industry practices
  • Proven success leading large-scale technology modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption, automation, and next-gen platforms

Responsibilities

  • Act as a servant leader to a team of Technology Directors, providing mentorship, coaching, and strategic guidance in delivering technology outcomes across Investments
  • Lead the adoption of modern engineering, delivery, and agile practices that shift culture toward empowerment, enablement, and accountability
  • Champion continuous improvement in technology delivery, with a focus on agility, automation, and simplification
  • Define organizational standards for technology execution, engineering excellence, security, and resilience
  • Collaborate with Product Owners embedded in the business, Technology leadership, and the Agile Enablement Office to strengthen agile culture and ways of working across the enterprise
  • Set goals and success metrics for technology delivery within Investments
  • Translate OTPP’s strategic priorities into technology delivery roadmaps that support Investments business; drive execution of technology delivery across fixed squads, ensuring accountability for end-to-end outcomes
  • Lead alignment across Technology and business stakeholders to ensure clarity on technology priorities, the rationale (“why and why now”), and trade-offs
  • Partner with Product Owners to ensure business cases, benefits realization, and delivery outcomes are supported by robust technology solutions
  • Ensure staffing, skills, and practices within technology delivery teams meet high standards of technical and professional excellence
  • Lead strategies to evaluate, select, and implement new technology solutions that balance speed, cost, risk, and scalability
  • Promote innovation and modernization of platforms, tools, and practices to accelerate value capture
  • Maintain effective relationships with executives and senior leaders across OTPP to build trust and transparency in delivery
