Requirements
- Hands-on expert knowledge of each Unit Operation in Cell Therapy manufacturing
- Ability to perform Cell Therapy manufacturing to demonstrate good execution and backfill for team members
- Technical expertise in CAR-T Manufacturing requirements
- Ability to hire personnel that meet job description criteria, BMS values, budgetary, and fiscal requirements
- Availability for Sunday - Tuesday (with e/o Wednesday off), Onsite Night Shift, 5 a.m. - 5:30 p.m
Responsibilities
- Leads by example and drives team to adhere to BMS values of Inclusion, Accountability, Innovation, Urgency, and Passion
- Ensures Work Centered Team (WCT) members execute manufacturing of Cell Therapy products according to cGMPs, following approved SOPs and WIs
- Takes personal responsibility for safety, ensures WCT members work safely, performs regular safety Gemba walks, knows hazards, demonstrates safe behavior, and operates/maintains equipment to prevent injuries/incidents
- Accountable for Production Records produced by WCT members; performs batch record reviews (BRR) or Electronic Batch Record review by exception
- Ensures all documentation by WCT members follows ALCOA+ principles, is right first time, complete, accurate; resolves errors/corrections to enforce manufacturing turnaround-times
- Further develops technical expertise of CAR-T Manufacturing requirements
- Provides Production Scheduling team with daily/weekly/monthly information on WCT production resources availability; tracks/maintains records of actual vs. planned/unplanned absences (holidays, sickness, etc.)
- Hires personnel that meet job description criteria and BMS values within budgetary/fiscal requirements
- Sets WCT priorities and adjusts as needed
- Maintains a culture of safety, compliance, innovation, and Continuous Improvement within Manufacturing Operations
