Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and develop an efficient Technical Unit according to site objectives
  • Coordinate the reporting structure and cultivate profitable client relationships
  • Support unit optimization, high efficiency, and implementation of projects with relevant teams
  • Guide the Unit to meet goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People development, Customer happiness, and Projects
  • Ensure adherence to security standards for the assigned function, aligning with regulations and company policies
  • Maintain corporate quality standards by approving procedures, coordinating staff supervision, and completing validations
  • Ensure overall readiness for production activities and adherence to short-term production and maintenance schedules; identify improvements for medium- and long-term scheduling
  • Ensure production of drugs as requested by clients through mentorship, coordination, and control of reporting structure
  • Participate in Technology Transfer meetings, approve manufacturing instructions, support anomalies, verify budget trends, conduct gap analysis, and define corrective actions
  • Facilitate TPM principles to improve equipment reliability and efficiency; identify improvement actions and preventive measures
  • Promote continuous advancement through recommendations on manufacturing plant layout, flexibility, GMP adjustments, and cost optimization
  • Guarantee implementation of maintenance activities; manage and monitor reporting structure for production efficiency and equipment
  • Establish actions to address production problems (e.g., plant breakdowns) following quality standards and production requirements
  • Propose and define budgets for fixed costs, variable costs, and investments; identify and encourage cost efficiency improvements
  • Work with Technology Transfer to identify and improve costs for new contracts; evaluate impacts and risks of new production orders
  • Ensure customer happiness through reporting structure and collaboration with technical business; maintain confidentiality of customers' production processes
  • Direct and coordinate department heads for technical training
