Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in an Indirect Tax environment, either in Industry or in a professional services environment
  • Proven track record of working independently whilst keeping team members updated on progress
  • Experience in liaising directly with Taxing Authorities, both in terms of providing information and challenging their assumptions and assessments
  • Ability to explain complex Indirect Tax issues in a clear and concise manner, without using jargon, and putting them in the context of business issues
  • Experience in supporting junior team members – helping them grow and achieve their potential, and providing valuable and constructive feedback

Responsibilities

  • Support Indirect Tax compliance processes in Asia to ensure Cytiva entities pay the right tax at the right time
  • Work with local teams to ensure Indirect Tax returns are filed on time and all payments are made by the due date
  • Support audits from relevant taxing authorities, collating information efficiently and providing timely, clear, and transparent responses
  • Support specific projects and tax authority changes identified
  • Collate quarterly management reporting around Indirect Tax key metrics globally
  • Collaborate with the Cytiva Indirect Tax Team to ensure Cytiva legal entities comply with all regional Indirect Tax obligations
  • Support commercial teams to deliver for customers and sourcing teams to ensure goods are in the right place at the right time
  • Support compliance and advisory work for the region
  • Work with project teams to support changes driven by business change and tax legislative changes
