Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
At least 3 years’ experience working in an Indirect Tax environment, either in Industry or in a professional services environment
Proven track record of working independently whilst keeping team members updated on progress
Experience in liaising directly with Taxing Authorities, both in terms of providing information and challenging their assumptions and assessments
Ability to explain complex Indirect Tax issues in a clear and concise manner, without using jargon, and putting them in the context of business issues
Experience in supporting junior team members – helping them grow and achieve their potential, and providing valuable and constructive feedback

Responsibilities

Support Indirect Tax compliance processes in Asia to ensure Cytiva entities pay the right tax at the right time
Work with local teams to ensure Indirect Tax returns are filed on time and all payments are made by the due date
Support audits from relevant taxing authorities, collating information efficiently and providing timely, clear, and transparent responses
Support specific projects and tax authority changes identified
Collate quarterly management reporting around Indirect Tax key metrics globally
Collaborate with the Cytiva Indirect Tax Team to ensure Cytiva legal entities comply with all regional Indirect Tax obligations
Support commercial teams to deliver for customers and sourcing teams to ensure goods are in the right place at the right time
Support compliance and advisory work for the region
Work with project teams to support changes driven by business change and tax legislative changes
