Requirements

  • 6-8+ years of progressive high growth experience from a Growth, Strategic Finance, Business Operations, or other highly analytical role at a fast-growing startup; may have begun career in investing, management consulting, and/or investment banking; prior experience working on or closely partnering with data-driven Growth teams is a plus
  • High analytical horsepower paired with strong modeling and data skills; ability to translate business concepts and frameworks to well-structured spreadsheet models; analytical toolkit to autonomously generate insights through data; fluency in database concepts, SQL, and modern BI tools
  • Attention to detail and strong strategic instincts; meticulous in ensuring precise and error-free output, paired with 80/20 sense to prioritize critical vs. secondary elements
  • Growth mindset and comfort with ambiguity; ability to create structure out of ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and pivot quickly in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Excellent communication and partnership skills; ability to engage diverse stakeholders (e.g., sales reps to engineers), build credibility, relationships, and buy-in; fantastic written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with low “ego to smarts ratio”; positive, learn-it-all energy; known for being great to work with
  • Willing and able to work onsite five days per week

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary Biz Ops business partner to the CMO and Marketing org
  • Shepherd the planning and goal-setting process for Marketing-driven pipeline, ROI, and other key funnel metrics, aligning these to broader company topline goals
  • Help generate insights around the performance of various acquisition channels and marketing programs across the funnel/buying lifecycle
  • Tackle critical change projects within Marketing to operate the business at the next level of scale
  • Partner closely with Marketing teams, serving as analytical thought partner to CMO, Data Science, and Demand Generation leaders to manage spend allocation decisions and understand efficacy of Marketing programs
  • Help lead quarterly business reviews, define top-level goals and key business metrics, and manage executive operating rhythms
