Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a security operations role
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, best practices, and security standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, and GDPR
  • High expertise in security tools

Responsibilities

  • Direct, guide, and develop a team of cybersecurity engineers to ensure expertise is maintained and operational effectiveness is achieved
  • Recruit talent, perform reviews, and promote ongoing learning
  • Develop and implement security strategies aligned with organisational goals and compliance needs
  • Evaluate emerging security technologies and make recommendations for their integration into the security architecture framework
  • Work closely with Security Engineers and other IT professionals to ensure the security architecture is maintained and up to date
  • Ensure that current tools and KPIs meet Danaher standards
  • Keep up to date with emerging security threats and trends and recommend new security measures and technologies as needed
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s cybersecurity framework
  • Lead a team of engineers and analysts
  • Orchestrate the deployment of security solutions
  • Ensure the daily operational integrity of all security measures
