BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
2+ years of experience as an engineering manager and 8+ years as a software engineer
Experience working with authentication and authorization services
Experience in Golang or similar technologies
Experience with shipping high-quality software in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience in building and maintaining large distributed systems at scale
Solid design and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated passion for engineering excellence, quality, security, and performance
Experience working with remote teams and individuals while ensuring agility and velocity
Ability to communicate and articulate crisply at all levels from executive staff to junior engineers
Ability and desire to be hands on as well as leading the team and collaborating cross functionally

Responsibilities

Help lead a multi-disciplinary team (backend, frontend, SDET, etc.) to drive and deliver on both roadmap and technical strategy
Play an instrumental role in hiring, retaining, and growing a team of highly talented engineers
Be an effective communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be laser focused on delivery and creating an engaging environment for world-class engineers
Collaborate effectively and efficiently with engineers, product managers, support, and sales engineering teams
