Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering (any field) or equivalent professional certification within the data & analytic field
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics engineering or related occupation of Analytics
  • 2+ years of experience leading successful teams (preferred)
  • Advanced quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, resourcefulness, and keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement with proven ability to effectively communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts across groups of cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong project management, problem structuring and strategic problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in regional environment with multiple entities
  • Ability to review/validate analytical data and determine best course of action
  • Demonstrated technical leadership and capability to facilitate team proficiency in advanced analytical tools
  • Skilled in developing executive-level presentations and delivering clear, impactful communication in both verbal and written formats
  • Experience with Smartsheet, Supply Chain Analytics tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, & Tableau Prep, SAP & Manhattan WMS
  • Solid computer skills including MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop an exceptional team of engineering talent to their full potential to explore technologies, design, develop and implement solutions of physical distribution and fulfillment centers under a structured analytical process
  • Leverage data and information to improve visibility to supply chain distribution center capacity and health metrics
  • Provide data that supports cost/benefit analyses and craft compelling arguments for capital investment to specific DC design requirements and drive cross-functional alignment with senior leadership
  • Lead the execution of a standardized operating model to ensure consistent, timely business deliverables
  • Support NA Supply Chain Engineering with various capital project analytics, modeling, & data mining used to develop RFP (Request for Proposal), scope of work and functional specifications leading to AR (Appropriation Request) approvals
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to support various strategic initiatives across NA Supply Chain
  • Manage numerous projects and tasks simultaneously while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors, and vendors
  • Make data driven recommendations & decisions
  • Responsible for team recruiting, hiring, mentoring and development
