Requirements

  • Minimum 5 to 6 years of experience in digital marketing or related experience in marketing with a passion for digital marketing and brand storytelling across owned digital eco-system
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a closely related field
  • Team leadership experience managing a minimum of one direct report
  • Hands-on expertise on marketing analytics, deriving useful insights and applying findings
  • Strong oral and written communication skills (in both English and Japanese) including meeting facilitation and making strategic recommendations and persuasive presentations to leadership
  • Passion for sport, deep curiosity about consumers, strong belief in Nike’s brand vision, thrives on storytelling, embraces innovation, and fosters an inclusive team culture

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Brand Digital Marketing team, including talent growth and development, overseeing two direct reports (one on Running & Training digital brand marketing, another leading Sportswear digital brand marketing and supporting Kids, Basketball, Global Football, Tennis, and Golf)
  • Collaborate with Japan marketing team, APLA marketing team on key brand initiatives, and NDDC team to drive demand and elevate consumer experiences
  • Develop and execute annual and seasonal digital marketing strategies across Nike’s owned channels (Nike.com, Nike App, Targeted Comms, NRC/NTC Apps, social media)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful consumer communications that drive engagement and elevate brand strength
  • Monitor and optimize consumer communication health through performance analysis
  • Foster a test-and-learn culture and iterative marketing approach
  • Manage agency relationships and align execution with cross-functional marketing leads
  • Drive brand strength and digital business growth, including increased traffic to owned platforms and improved sell-through of key products
