Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, with a CPA designation being preferred. A minimum of 7 years of combined experience in corporate or operational accounting roles is required, preferably within a public accounting or large corporate environment. Experience with SAP or other large ERP systems is strongly preferred, as is the ability to understand and apply U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance requirements. Experience leveraging AI in work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving is also a key qualification. Strong project management skills, exceptional attention to detail, proactive problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and strong influencing/relationship-building skills are essential. The ability to thrive in complex, high-performing, and fast-paced environments is also necessary.
The Manager, Corporate Accounting will manage global accounting for accrued and operating expenses, including complex contracts and reciprocal arrangements. This role involves overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, investigating and resolving complex accounting issues, and partnering cross-functionally to operationalize accounting treatment for contracts. Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable processes for accounting execution, collaborating with global accounting teams to drive process improvements, and representing Corporate Accounting in finance transformation projects. The manager will also drive efficiency in close processes using technologies like Power BI and AI, design and maintain global accounting policies, processes, and SOX-compliant internal controls, and manage a team of three.
