Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Floor care experience helpful
Ability to operate small yard equipment effectively
Valid Driver’s License required
Wall repair and painting experience required (taping, rolling, brushing, cutting edges)
Preferred: Minor sheetrock installation, taping, mudding, and texturing experience
Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Certification or completion within first 6 months of employment

Responsibilities

Perform floor care duties including maintaining hardwood floors (daily disinfection, routine waxing) and carpeted areas (daily care, routine extraction and cleaning)
Conduct general preventative and reactive maintenance duties such as inspecting and repairing equipment, the facility, and its systems
Perform general housekeeping, maintenance, and other duties as assigned
Handle security duties including securing and opening the facility daily and responding to security concerns
Remove snow from sidewalks and facility exits using a tractor and shovel during snow events
Perform cleaning tasks throughout the main campus of Lakes Regional Healthcare and the Milford location to promote a safe and sanitary environment
