Requirements

  • Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills
  • Experience with diagnosing and repairing various types of machines (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical)
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics and PLCs
  • Experience with CMMS programs
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple teams (Engineering, Operations, Quality, Safety, and Process Development)

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and emergency mechanical and electrical maintenance
  • Respond to urgent machine failures, coordinating parts procurement and personnel
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics and PLCs
  • Leverage electrical skills to engineer and design solutions for process changes
  • Monitor running conditions of all major systems and critical units
  • Collaborate with technicians, vendors, contractors, department managers, and engineers on maintenance matters
  • Review, analyze, and enter all work order requests
  • Review and ensure all work orders are entered into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Participate in executing continuous improvement and loss elimination projects
  • Install machinery related to the manufacturing process and the plant’s physical structure
