One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have or will be required to obtain a driver’s license
Must carry own automobile liability insurance

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of general, mechanical, and preventative maintenance duties, as well as inspections, servicing, repair, and equipment overhaul
Carry out routine and specific assignments, including recalibration of room thermostats; patient services; repair beds, carts, and other wheeled equipment; assemble, move and install furniture, fixtures, and equipment; repair desks, files, cabinets, chairs, and other furniture and wall coverings; assist other trades personnel as needed in handling materials on major repair or installation projects
Maintain daily log of activities
Demonstrate ability to complete minor electrical/mechanical equipment repairs
Perform and record project management checks of equipment
Understand and comprehend boiler operations
Work on all types of pumps: water, chlorine, and sewage, etc
Follow and keep updated on all applicable city, state, and federal codes for fire and safety
Inspect incoming equipment for electrical safety
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
