Responsibilities

Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic malfunctions on facility equipment
Diagnose and repair a wide variety of facility equipment to maximize uptime
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance procedures on equipment and report findings to leadership
Coordinate and/or perform assigned work with contractors and other maintenance personnel to ensure proper repairs with minimum impact on operations
Maintain open communications with supervision and customer department personnel, documenting all activities and departmental procedural requirements
Perform routine preventive maintenance, including inspecting drives, motors, and belts; checking fluid levels; replacing filters; cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts following checklists
Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools (hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches) to precision measuring instruments and electrical/electronic testing devices
Assemble, install, and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment
Assist in diagnosing and testing mechanical problems, using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs to repair or replace defective equipment
Perform other duties as required
